It’s all happening in one night — Parent-Teacher Conferences, fundraiser pick-up, and ParentCamp! Make the most of your visit and join us for an evening filled with connection, conversation, and community.

ParentCamp is not your typical event — it’s a fun, interactive experience where families, educators, and community members come together to share ideas and learn from one another. Enjoy a free meal, take part in open dialogue sessions, and build relationships that strengthen our Keene community. While adults chat, kids enjoy their own adventures in Kids Club Fun — with games, crafts, and friends (plus prizes!).

This ParentCamp will feature three inspiring, family-centered conversations:

💻 Raising Happy Digital Kidswith Brittany Collins, Delaware Council on Gambling Problems
Learn how to help children navigate social media, gaming, and online spaces with confidence, kindness, and balance. Discover practical tips to support healthy tech habits and encourage positive digital citizenship.

🏫 New Halls, New Friends, New Adventures! – Next Stop: Middle Schoolwith Kim Givens, Math Teacher, Gauger-Cobbs Middle School
Transitioning to middle school is a big step for students and families alike! Come chat about what to expect, how to ease worries, and ways to help your child feel excited and ready for this new adventure.

🕊️ Building Peaceful Problem Solverswith Naomi Boutros, School Counselor, Keene Elementary School, and Kirstin Hilliard, Social Worker, Christina School District
Conflicts are a normal part of growing up — but learning to handle them with empathy and respect takes practice. Explore strategies to help children identify emotions, build communication skills, and strengthen relationships at home and at school.

Come laugh, share, and leave feeling connected! Attend all four Keene ParentCamps this year to be entered to win a Family Delaware Parks Pass, donated by ParentCamp.

Our mission is to help every Family–School–Community become ONE TEAM for kids.

Thank you to the Delaware Department of Education for supporting Keene Elementary School’s ParentCamp family-school-community engagement journey.
